Geneva Hills is on the Air
On January 7, 2009, Geneva Hills was interviewed on WLOH AM 1320 in Lancaster as part of the "Lunch Downtown program heard every Wednesday at noon with Karen Rotkis and Mark Bohach. Mark is the director of WLOH in Lancaster, and Karen is the director of Main Street Lancaster.
This Wednesday's program took place at the Chamber of Commerce building in the conference room. The program often travels depending on the guest and the specifics of the local business ventures. Geneva Hills was selected because of Kristy Burns and her unique relationship with downtown Lancaster, and the Chamber of Commerce.
As chairman of the Main Street Lancaster Promotions Committee, Kristy Burns was able to represent both Geneva Hills and the Promotions committee. Nearly 30 minutes of the 42 minute broadcast was devoted to getting to know Geneva Hills. Programs, facilities, lodging, etc. were all subjects discussed by Mark, Karin, Geoff, and Kristy. Summer camp and the 50 years of history at Geneva Hills was a significant part of the program.
